To help you expectorate sputum and phlegm in order to maintain a daily routine to keep your lungs breathing healthily: 

  • We teach breathing, huffing (forced expiration technique) and coughing techniques and 
  • Can show you how to use a variety of airway clearance devices, e.g. Flutter, Acapella or PEP Positive Expiratory Pressure
  • Can guide you through chest clapping or percussion if required and appropriate
